Last month, I got stood up.
 
We were meeting at Bakesale Betty in Oakland at 3, and after struggling for some parking, I found myself looking at stacked chairs and an hours sign that states “closes at 2:30”.
 
Huh.
 
Ain’t no thang. I made a call to my date—- he doesn’t live in Oakland…
